Do I need to be home when my order is delivered?

If your delivery address is in the UK, your order will be dispatched via Royal Mail, Yodel or Hermes. You will find this information on your dispatch email. If your delivery address is outside of the UK, your order will be delivered by your local postal service.

If your parcel is on a 24HR service, it will require a signature, if no one is present, then the courier will attempt to obtain a signature from a neighbour. If a signature cannot be obtained and all the delivery attempts have been exhausted, the parcel will be treated as undeliverable and returned to a local depot or to the sender. If your parcel is on a Standard, Express or 48HR service, you are not required to be present for delivery. If delivery cannot be made, Royal Mail will leave a card, and the parcel will be held at a local depot. Using the details on the card you can request a second delivery, or collect the parcel from the depot.

Royal Mail offer a 'delivery to neighbour' service where if you are not home to accept delivery, your parcel will be left with a neighbour and you will receive a card through your letterbox. For more information on this service please visit http://www.royalmail.com/delivery-to-neighbour.

If your order is being dispatched Yodel or Hermesand theyattempt delivery and no one is present, a card will be left at the delivery address and the item will be reattempted up to three times before being returned to us. Using the details on the card you can contact the courier and request a second delivery attempt. For security reasons, they will leave a parcel in a safe place if specified.
